The Advent Season 2025 is a time of anticipation and preparation leading up to Christmas. It is characterized by four themes: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. Each week, a candle is lit on the Advent wreath.
Hope: Represents the hope of Christ’s coming and God’s promise of redemption.
Peace: Emphasizes the peace that Christ brings into the world.
Joy: Celebrate the joy of anticipation for Jesus’ arrival.
Love: Reflects God’s love for humanity through the gifts of Jesus.
These themes guide believers in reflecting on the significance of Christ’s birth and his promise of a future return.
December 21, 2025 – Pastor Gresham and the Zion Baptist Church Veterans Christmas Drive titled, “Operation Pride and Joy” will be Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. There will be a concert, dinner will be served and Santa Elf’s will be distributing gifts for the children.
